Is the text uploaded to a server?
No. Detection and transformation run in this browser tab. Google connections relate only to ads and consent, not document content.
Does the result guarantee anonymization?
No automated tool can determine that without context. The tool helps mask and pseudonymize data, but you must assess the recipient and realistic re-identification means.
Can I restore the data?
Yes, when a consistent map was used and its encrypted copy was retained. Partial masking or removal without a map may be irreversible.
